The Healthiest Communities rankings and scores from U.S. News & World Report show how nearly 3,000 U.S. counties and county-equivalents perform on 80 metrics across 10 health-related categories. Scores range from 0 to 100 in which the top-performing county received a score of 100 points, the bottom-performing county received a score of zero, and other counties were scored proportionally.

The Healthiest Communities Overall Score informs residents, health care leaders, and officials about local policies and practices that drive better health outcomes for all.
